Rules Of Healthy Living

A healthy lifestyle can bring about many positive changes in our lives. Once we choose a healthy lifestyle, not only would we look better but we will also feel better and more energetic. It also slows down the process of aging and can reduce the risk of heart diseases, diabetics and cancer.

There are certain rules of healthy living and the first one of them is not drinking water during your meals. You should drink water before your meal because it will fill you up and stop you from over eating. Not having water along with your meal will give you an opportunity to breathe properly which will be helpful in the process of digestion. Therefore, you should separate your meals from any liquid intake for at least ten and ideally thirty minutes.

The second rule is a proper combination of our food. If we want to ensure the best digestion of nutrients then we should have the knowledge of the effective combination. The improper combination can put a strain on our digestive system and as a result food will not be properly converted into nutrients and our body will be deprived of amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Most people tend to misinterpret discomfort after intake of food as food allergies when it is actually the result of the poor combination. They should know that improper combination for a prolonged period of time can wear down our body and lead to more serious issues. We should eat in a relaxed state and eliminate every possible distraction like television, cellphone and internet. In addition to this we should chew our food slowly and take small bites.

We should try and eat organic foods because they are free from pesticides, growth hormones and antibiotics.
